Coventry Food Bank Collection Day at Tesco, Richoh Arena, on Saturday
1st December 2012.
Richard Stroud, who came to talk to us last Sunday, will be responsible for “masterminding” this collection and is looking for volunteers to help during the day which starts at 8.30am and finishes at 3.30pm. Any amount of time you can be available would be much appreciated. Volunteers will be fed and watered while they are there.

Confirmation Service is on Saturday 24th November at 4pm in Coventry Cathedral.
Luncheon Club
- The Luncheon Club meets on the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month. Communion upstairs at 11.30am is followed by lunch downstairs at 12.30pm. Please speak to Janice. Bring your friends!
We will be doing the
Shoebox Appeal again this year. Leaflets are available at the rear of the Church. Please return your Shoeboxes to Church by
4th November.
Tuesday Prayers -
These are on hold at present. All ideas about how to grow together in our prayer life gratefully received.

- Wednesday 21st November, 6pm: Commissioning Service for Mr Burrows, Head of All Saints C of E Primary.
- Saturday 24th November, 4pm at Coventry Cathedral: Confirmation Service
- Saturday 15th December: Christingle Service and Christmas Bazaar. Details tbc.

• We thank God for the dedication and hard work of all head teachers in our church schools, and we pray that they may know God's vision, wisdom and strength. We also pray for God's blessing upon the Diocesan Headteacher Conference taking place today and tomorrow.
• We pray for doctors, nurses and all other staff at our local doctor’s surgery.
• We pray that the Lord, ruler over waves and sea, may keep his guiding hand over all seafarers. May God give them strength to lead a Christian life aboard their ships. We also pray for all chaplains who serve at sea.

Prayer for Today
Eternal God, you crown the year with your goodness and you give us the fruits of the earth in their season: grant that we may use them to your glory, for the relief of those in need and for our own well-being; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God now and for ever. Amen.
