TONIGHT
Sunday 29th September, 6.00 - 7.30pm 
as we celebrate the start of 
a new chapter in the life of St Anne & All Saints.  
Drinks and nibbles will be served from 6.00pm, followed by
a toast and a short act of worship and re-dedication. 
All are welcome and we will be providing activities for children.

Notices

Praying for Mental Health, Mental Health problems affect around one in four of the population yet they are rarely spoken about. World Mental Health Day is October 10th, and to mark this Keeping Health in Mind, a Christian mental health charity, in partnership with St Anne and All Saints, will be holding a prayer event at the church on Saturday October 12th between 3pm and 5pm.  There will be an opportunity to pray in different creative ways for those who struggle with mental ill health, for our communities, and for the global impact of mental health problems.  The afternoon will be opened by the Bishop of Coventry, patron of Keeping Health in Mind.  There will be refreshments available, and a very warm welcome to all.

Module 2 Safeguarding Children Training - Tuesday 15th October 7.15pm – 9.30pm at St Anne & All Saints Church, Strathmore Avenue, Coventry CV1 2AN Training for those who have completed the Basic Safeguarding Children training.

Harvest Service: Our Harvest Service is on Sunday 20th October at 10am. During the service we will collect for Coventry Foodbank.

And, later on the same day ..............

Ros’s “church-warming”: We have ALL been invited to a family-friendly tea and church service at St Mark’s Leamington to wish Ros well in her new role at that church. It is on Sunday October 20th at 5.30pm. Please put the date in your diary, and we will sort out transport needs nearer the time.

We are doing the Shoebox Appeal again this year. Leaflets are available at the rear of the Church. The voluntary donation with each box is £3, please read the leaflet. Please return your Shoeboxes to Church by November 3rd.
 
Life Groups. We meet in small groups at various times through the week to help us to grow and to learn about God. Please speak to Clive to find out more or to explore which group might best suit you.

Cathedral Praise Coventry Cathedral are keen to develop a partnership with us as a neighbouring church. We are all invited to join with them every Sunday evening at 6.30pm for Cathedral Praise. This is especially useful if you were busy serving during the morning service here.

Welcome & Re-dedication on Sunday 29th September

Service of
Welcome and Re-dedication
 
as we celebrate the start of a new chapter in the life of St Anne & All Saints.

Drinks and nibbles will be served from 6.00pm, followed by a toast and a short act of worship and re-dedication as the evening moves on.

Everyone of all ages is welcome to attend and we will be providing activities for children. 

We are very excited about the improvements, and want to share our pleasure with those associated with us and the community at large

This is a Party as well as a re-dedication, so do come along and enjoy the evening.

MODULE 2 SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN TRAINING - Tuesday 15th October 7.15pm – 9.30pm St Anne & All Saints Church, Acacia Avenue, Coventry CV1 2AN.  Training for those who have completed the Basic Safeguarding Children training and are in a leadership role within the church such as children’s and youth workers, parish safeguarding officers, church wardens and those who wish to look at safeguarding children in more depth.

Please pray for:- 
• the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• We pray for Bishop Christopher who is on duty at the House of Lords this week and for Bishop John who will be attending the annual meeting of the College of Bishops.
• The Global economies at this difficult time
• all those using our building
• God's blessing upon the church members and the local community
• wisdom as we make daily decisions about transport and ask for help in finding new ways and new disciplines to improve the impact we make on the environment.
• Saturday is the International Day of Peace - an annual event aiming to foster personal and political ceasefires, bringing everyone together in a commitment to peace. We pray for people and places affected by conflict and we ask for God's help as we seek to be peacemakers in this world.

             2. Come along to all or part of it

Training for those who have completed the Basic Safeguarding Children training and are in a leadership role within the church, such as children’s and youth workers, parish safeguarding officers, church wardens and those who wish to look at safeguarding children in more depth. The training lasts for two hours and looks in particular at the issues of neglect and sexual abuse and the management of offenders in the church.

Christmas Shoebox Appeal: We will be doing the  again this year. Leaflets are available at the rear of the Church. Please read the leaflet for information about where the shoeboxes go and what sort of items to put in them and return your Shoeboxes to Church by November 3rd. The voluntary donation with each box is £3.
