an opportunity to sign up to our Alpha Course which starts next week.

Keeping Health in Mind World Mental Health Day is in October each year and to mark this important day, Keeping Health in Mind are holding a special event on Saturday 4th October, from 4 - 6 pm at St Anne and All Saints, Coventry CV1 2AN. The aim is to gather and reflect together on how the church can better offer support to those whose lives are affected by mental health problems. All are welcome.
 
Children - There will be a Sponsored Sleepover on Saturday 18th October. If your child is aged 8 or over and is interested please speak to Carolyn.

Thank you to all who give money regularly to this church using the envelope scheme. Might now be a good time, however, for you to consider setting up a Standing Order instead? This is very convenient, both for you and for the DCC, and can be done weekly or monthly. If you choose this, our bank details are; Account name: St Anne & All Saints DCC, Sort code: 309354, Account number: 00160571.

Parking Permits - Please be advised that the scheme is still under review and displaying the old out of date permits is still being advised.

Please remember to bring & put in drawers at rear of church: 
• used stamps for the Leprosy Mission.
• milk bottle tops for Myton Hospice
• ring pulls from cans for the Philippine Community Fund.
• The Coventry Foodbank contents are taken each week to the Hope
   Centre in Hillfields. New Shopping Lists are available to help you
• Coins to put in our I Hate Coppers bottle as we support Canon
   Andrew White and the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the
   Middle East at St.George's Church, Baghdad, Iraq.
• Individual collection boxes for The Children’s Society. Please see Janice.


Please pray: 
• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all. 
• The Global economies at this difficult times 
• For all those using our building 
• For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community. 
• Today marks the International Day of Peace - an annual event designed to bring peace to every individual across the globe. It is also designed to be a day of ceasefire. We pray for God's help in our own lives to cease fighting, stop arguing and make peace with others. We pray for God's dynamic intervention of peace into the most troubled places of conflict. 
• We pray for the Prom for All at Coventry Cathedral this evening. We give thanks for the musical gifts God has given and pray that many would be blessed by their visit to the Cathedral today. 

Pray for those in special need at this time and those recovering from illness:

Prayer for Today

A big,big thank you to all who helped with the Charterhouse Fayre. Especially we would like to thank Hope Coventry - stalls, YMCA - games, St John's Ambulance, Charterhouse Association and Charterhouse Preservation Trust.

Are you interested in helping the whole church family to worship by operating either the sound desk or the laptop? Techy training will be held on Thursday 25th at 7.30pm. No experience necessary.

• We thank God for all those who serve as Bishops in the Church of England. We pray for the ongoing work in preparing for women to become Bishops. We pray for the College of Bishops' meeting which begins on Monday and for Bishop John attending.
• We pray for clergy and church leaders who are unwell. We remember especially those who cannot work and minister while they recover or receive treatment. We pray for sensitivity and understanding in churches and congregations, and for unity in working together.
• At the start of British Food Fortnight, on Saturday, we give thanks for the growers and producers of food in this country. We thank God for the care that goes in to making food safe for us to eat.
