Serving each other in church. It is great that we are able to depend on each other as so many people help out in so many different ways in church. Sometimes it isn't possible to make it when we are on a rota, but please do remember to try to arrange someone to cover if you aren't able to help in the way that was planned, and please do check your rota regularly.

For your diary: On Sunday April 12th we will be joined by the Bishop of Warwick, John Stroyan for worship and Confirmations.

Please pray:
• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• The Global economies at this difficult times
• For all those using our building
• For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community.
• Loving God, we thank you for the gift of life and the protection you give us; for our loved ones and those who care for us; for the gift of homes, warmth and security; for the gifts you have given us that make our lives fun and interesting; for the gift of children of all ages and for those who nurture them; for the gift of knowing you, we thank you.
 • As we remember Jesus' last supper, we pray that God would increase in us gifts of humility and hospitality, and help us to turn away from selfishness and pride
• "When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of Glory died; my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride." As we remember Jesus' obedience, even to death on a cross, we ask God to meet us in our brokenness and need and make us obedient to him.
• We pray for all those who are waiting. We remember those who are expecting good news today, of a birth or reason to celebrate. We pray too for those who are waiting for unknown or difficult news today.
• For those who have lost family and friends in the Germanwings plane crash

Pray for those in special need at this time and those recovering from illness:
Colin O’Shea; Les & Joyce Cave; J R Lindsey; Florizel Anderson; Canon Andrew White; Gill Wiles; Emma Smith; Albert Hagan; Milly; Chris Edmunds; John Goodwin

Prayer for Today
True and humble King, hailed by the crowd as Messiah: grant us the faith to know you and love you, that we may be found beside you on the way of the cross, which is the path of glory. Amen.
