Joy to the World, the Lord is come! As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we pray that many would hear and know the Lord Jesus for themselves this Christmas. Lord Jesus Christ, your birth at Bethlehem draws us to kneel in wonder at heaven touching earth: accept our heartfelt praise as we worship you, our Saviour and our eternal God. Amen.

Any vehicle that is parked in the Charterhouse area that is displaying a permit dated 30th November 2013 will not be issued with a parking ticket for displaying an expired permit.'

• World AIDS Day we pray for all those people and communities around the world affected by AIDS and HIV. With around 80,000 people in the UK who are HIV positive, we pray for ongoing breakthroughs in medical care, and for stigmatising and discrimination to cease
• We remember before God all those who are struggling with mental health issues. We pray that they would find support and refreshment in churches.
• We thank God for all the new clergy and their families in the diocese and pray for them on Thursday as they meet at Bishop's House

• As we praise God for Christ the King! We pray for Bishop Christopher as he preaches at the Kaiser-Wilhelm Church, Berlin (a Cross of Nails partner) in a service that commemorates the 70th anniversary of the destruction of the Church

Parking Permits - Extract from letter from Coventry City Council:- ' The Council is currently reviewing a number of residents' parking schemes across the city including the Charterhouse Scheme........ the Council has decided not to issue new parking permits to residents at this stage. The Tuesday Life Group are organising the Raffle and would welcome items that will fill two hampers:
1. Items for a Christmas Hamper (Christmas pudding, biscuits, Tea ,Coffee etc etc.)
2. Toiletries (soap, shampoo, shower gel, etc etc.)

MODULE 2 SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN TRAINING - Tuesday 15th October 7.15pm – 9.30pm at St Anne & All Saints Church, Acacia Avenue, Coventry CV1 2AN. Training for those who have completed the Basic Safeguarding Children training and are in a leadership role within the church such as children’s and youth workers, parish safeguarding officers, church wardens and those who wish to look at safeguarding children in more depth.

Praying for Mental Health, Mental Health problems affect around one in four of the population yet they are rarely spoken about. World Mental Health Day is October 10th, and to mark this Keeping Health in Mind, a Christian mental health charity, in partnership with St Anne and All Saints, will be holding a prayer event at the church on Saturday October 12th between 3pm and 5pm.  There will be an opportunity to pray in different creative ways for those who struggle with mental ill health, for our communities, and for the global impact of mental health problems.  The afternoon will be opened by the Bishop of Coventry, patron of Keeping Health in Mind.  There will be refreshments available, and a very warm welcome to all.
