Serving each other in church. It is great that we are able to depend on each other as so many people help out in so many different ways in church. Sometimes it isn't possible to make it when we are on a rota, but please do remember to try to arrange someone to cover if you aren't able to help in the way that was planned, and please do check your rota regularly. 

The forthcoming LIFE Course has been postponed until October due to lack of interest. Please do speak to Clive if you would like to know more or are interested in attending this 6 week Bible-based coping skills course.

85th Celebration Service St Anne & All Saints – Sunday 6th December 4pm. If you know anyone that we should invite to this Service please can you give contact details to Stella. 

History of St Anne & All Saints – if you have any memories, photos etc. that we can use in a display, please see Stella or Carolyn. 

Coventry Food Bank most needed products are coffee, tins of fruit, nappies and baked beans please. They have plenty of pasta and cereals at the moment 

Charity Collections - Please remember to bring & put in drawers at rear of church: 
• used stamps for the Leprosy Mission. 
• ring pulls from cans for the Philippine Community Fund. 
• The Coventry Foodbank contents are taken each week to the Hope Centre in Hillfields. New Shopping Lists are available to help you 
• Coins to put in our I Hate Coppers bottle as we support Canon Andrew White and the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East at St.George's Church, Baghdad, Iraq. 
• Individual collection boxes for The Children’s Society. Please see Janice

Collection for Refugees

St. Anne & All Saints will be a collection point 
for items donated for the refugees in support of 
"These Hands Are Better Than None". 

Please bring your donations to church
next 
Saturday 26th 4pm-6pm 
Sunday 27th 4pm-6pm 

 ITEMS NEEDED: 
• Toothpaste 
• Spices (any) 
• Salt 
• Tea 
• Coffee 
• Trainers / Hiking Boots size UK 8-12 – good quality – please pair them up as securely as you can (tape/string) and label with the European size. 
• Tents & Tarpaulins – in GOOD condition with all the poles etc. 
• Sleeping Bags and Roll Mats (not airbeds) 
• Men’s Jackets – Small or Medium 
• Small travel bags / rucksacks 
• NEW socks size UK 8-12 
• Candles – other types of light (with batteries) 
• Men's Belts To help with the logistics we also need, Large Boxes, Gaffer Tape, Pens and Labels.

• We thank God for HM The Queen and pray for the special celebrations this month of her being the longest reigning British monarch. We pray for Bishop John as he travels to Buffalo for the annual meeting of the International Commission for Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue. 
• Monday marks the International Day of Peace - an annual event designed to bring peace to every individual across the globe. It is also designed to be a day of ceasefire. We pray for God's help in our own lives to cease fighting, stop arguing and make peace with others. We pray for God's dynamic intervention of peace into the most troubled places of conflict. 
• We pray for the ministry and mission of the Cathedral: for new connections with university students as they arrive in Coventry; for the new interns as they begin their life and work in the Cathedral community; for 'News & Booze' young adults group.

• We give thanks to God for all those who serve the Church of England and in the wider Anglican Communion as bishops. We pray for Bishops Christopher and John, for their ministry, positions of responsibility, their times of rest and their families. We pray for them both as they attend the annual College of Bishops’ meeting this week. 
• Creator God we give you thanks for all of our farmers as they harvest the crops that feed us. We thank you for the skills of those who will be bringing the harvest in, and we ask that the weather be favourable. We pray that the harvest is bountiful enough to share with all those who are in need.

This September we will be running The LIFE Course, a six week skills based course which enables the participants to live fuller, richer lives, lives without stigma or guilt. Places will be limited so please speak to Clive to register your interest.
