Prayer Meetings - meet on Tuesday evenings, 7.30-9pm at the Vicarage. All Welcome

Ladies – we have 12 tickets reserved for Tuesday 16th October to see Calendar Girls at the Belgrade Theatre in the evening. The tickets are £24.75. If you would like to go please speak to Sandra A.

Men  - Fancy a day out on Sat 20th October looking at living dangerously? Talk to Clive

Bible Study/Prayer Group will be Monday Sept 24th 7.00pm at 2 Cornwall Road – Please read Judges 4 & 5.

Adult Confirmation - If you would like to know about being confirmed please add your name to the list at the back of church. There will be preparation sessions after church on 14th, 21st & 28th October. Confirmation Service 24th November.

Connecting with young adults - Are you interested in how we as church can connect with young adults? Clive & Ali will be leading a Service on the first Sunday of October & November in the afternoon. Fancy helping with something new and exciting? Please speak to Clive.

Luncheon Club meets on the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month. Communion upstairs at 11.30 is followed by lunch downstairs at 12.30. Please speak to Janice. Bring your friends! (Next Meeting 24th Sept.)

Alpha Course - Starting Thursday September 20th at 7.30pm we will be running a 10 week Alpha Course. Alpha is a non-pressurised, fun and informative course designed for anyone who wants to find out more about the Christian faith. Can you think of anyone who might like to come? Or if you would like to join us, could you bring someone new with you?

Wanted people to help with hospitality, especially people baking or making desserts. Please sign sheet at the back of church.

We will be doing the Shoebox Appeal again this year. Leaflets are available at the rear of the Church.

• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• We pray for Bishop Christopher as he chairs the residential meeting of the Church of England’s Faith and Order Commission for three days.
• We pray for the Diocesan Mission Fund Committee which meets on Tuesday.
• The Elliot family whose daughter Imogen is poorly
