Bible Study/Prayer Group will be on Monday January 29th, 7.00pm at 2 Cornwall Road. We will be discussing the Diocesan Strategy. Please come along.

Epiphany Bring & Share on Sunday 20th January after Worship. Everybody is invited to join in this wonderful opportunity for our church family to spend time together enjoying each other's company and food. There will be a list in church where you can let us know if you are able to come along and the type of food you would like to bring. You are sure to have valued all the presents you received at Christmas but, for those gifts which you feel other people might value more, there will be an Unwanted Gifts Table where you can donate them for us to sell. Please put this event in your diary and do bring along your family and friends.

Please pray for:
• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• The Global economies at this difficult
• For all those using our building
• We thank God for the influence that the Church of England has in Parliament through bishops serving in the House of Lords. We pray that all bishops may speak with wisdom, and we especially pray for Bishop Christopher who will have his official introduction into the House of Lords on Tuesday
• We pray for God's blessing upon the church members and the local community
• The Elliot family whose daughter Imogen is poorly

Pray for those in special need at this time and those recovering from illness:
Irene Haigh; Peter Soles; Jack Stansfield; David Smith; Betty Sutton; Sheila Green: Ron Smith; Margaret Smith; Susan McMillan; Alan Stansfield; Imogen Elliot; Ina Anstee; George Adamantos; Jackie Schreiber; Colin O’Shea

Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, at the Jordan you revealed Jesus as your Son: may we recognise him as our Lord and know ourselves to be your beloved children; through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.
