Ladies Group – Christmas Meal on DC-6 DINER on Wednesday 11th December at 7.30pm. Please give name & £5 deposit to Stella.
Life Groups - We meet in small groups at various times through the week to help us to grow and to learn about God. Please speak to Clive to find out more or to explore which group might best suit you.
Parking Permits: ' The Council is currently reviewing a number of residents' parking schemes across the city including the Charterhouse Scheme........ the Council has decided not to issue new parking permits to residents at this stage. Instead you should continue to display your old parking permit that is dated 30th November 2013. Any vehicle that is parked in the Charterhouse area that is displaying a permit dated 30th November 2013 will not be issued with a parking ticket for displaying an expired permit.'
Charity Collections - Please remember to bring:
- used stamps to put in the basket for the Leprosy Mission.
- milk bottle tops for Myton Hospice
- ring pulls from cans for the Philippine Community Fund.
- The Coventry Foodbank box is at the back of church and its contents are taken each week to the Hope Centre in Hillfields. New Shopping Lists are available to help you remember what they need.

• this Alcohol Awareness Week we pray for all who have difficulties with alcohol. We pray for those who need support with these challenges, and for all the people and agencies involved in providing care and treatment for those seeking to stop drinking alcohol.
• the continuing conversations regarding Women Bishops in the Church of England. We thank God for on-going dialogue and understanding. We pray for graceful and purposeful resolution to difficulties and for the best legislation and practice to be agreed.

Prayer for Today
Merciful Lord, you long for the world’s salvation: stir us from apathy, restrain us from excess and revive in us new hope that all creation will one day be healed in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
