Keeping Health in Mind World Mental Health Day is in October each year and to mark this important day, Keeping Health in Mind are holding a special event on Saturday 4th October, from 4 - 6 pm at St Anne and All Saints, Coventry CV1 2AN. The aim is to gather and reflect together on how the church can better offer support to those whose lives are affected by mental health problems. All are welcome. 

Children - There will be a Sponsored Sleepover on Saturday 18th October. If your child is aged 8 or over and is interested please speak to Carolyn. 

Charity Collections - Please remember to bring & put in drawers at rear of church: 
• used stamps for the Leprosy Mission. 
• milk bottle tops for Myton Hospice 
• ring pulls from cans for the Philippine Community Fund. 
• The Coventry Foodbank contents are taken each week to the Hope Centre in Hillfields. New Shopping Lists are available to help you 
• Coins to put in our I Hate Coppers bottle as we support Canon Andrew White and the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East at St.George's Church, Baghdad, Iraq. 
• Individual collection boxes for The Children’s Society. Please see Janice 

Parking Permits - Please be advised that the scheme is still under review and displaying the old out of date permits is still being advised. The review is being undertaken by the Traffic Management Team and will soon be resolved. 

Thank you to all who give money regularly to this church using the envelope scheme. Might now be a good time, however, for you to consider setting up a Standing Order instead? This is very convenient, both for you and for the DCC, and can be done weekly or monthly. • For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community. 
• We pray for Bishop John as he joins the Greek Orthodox community in Coventry for their 50th anniversary celebrations. Their patriarch, His Eminence, Archbishop Gregorios will also be present. 
• We pray for those who meet at Offa House as part of the rhythm of prayer. Together we continue to seek God's will for Offa House in to the future. 
• We pray for all those involved in, and especially for Bishop Christopher who will be leading and preaching at The Blue Coat School's 300th anniversary service to be held in the Cathedral on Friday.

Lord of creation, whose glory is around and within us: open our eyes to your wonders, that we may serve you with reverence and know your peace at our lives’ end, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
