Please pray
• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• The Global economies at this difficult time
• For all those using our building
• For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community.
• We pray that as familiar carols are sung in parishes across the diocese today, the words and meaning of these songs would be embraced afresh by all who sing them. May God be glorified in our Christmas worship.
• We thank God for our continued growth and for guiding us in how to serve our community. Please pray for strength and protection as we weather some complicated challenges.
• Christmas Day Joy to the world, the Lord is come! As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we pray that many would hear and know the Lord Jesus for themselves this Christmas. Lord Jesus Christ, your birth at Bethlehem draws us to kneel in wonder at heaven touching earth: accept our heartfelt praise as we worship you, our Saviour and our eternal God. Amen

Pray for those in special need at this time and those recovering from illness:
Colin O’Shea; Les Cave; Steve Brooker; J R Lindsey; Marlene; Canon Andrew White; Florizel Anderson; Jill Wiles

We remember those who have died:
– especially for Phil Smith, we pray for family and friends and all who mourn.

Prayer for Today
Eternal God, as Mary waited for the birth of your Son, so we wait for his coming in glory: bring us through the birth-pangs of this present age to see, with her, our great salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
