Love Your Church - The church is open every Saturday from 10am-12noon for cleaning, tidying, fixing, moving, sorting, trimming, planting, painting, bonding, helping, doing, watching, organising, teamworking, decorating and building. Please feel free to drop in and “love your church”. 

Learning How To Pray. We are running some sessions on Tuesday evenings looking at The Lord’s Prayer as a model for our prayer life. 7.30pm at church. All are welcome. 

Monday Evening Life Group -  next Meeting will be on 26th January at 7pm, 2 Cornwall Road. We will be studying the Parables for the next few Meetings. For more information please speak to Mick, Lorna, Stella, Barbara or Peter. 

Ladies Group - 7.30pm Tuesday 27th January – Cheese & Wine planning evening. All Ladies & friends welcome. 24 Seneschal Road. 

New Flower Rota 2015 – If you would like to donate flowers in Memory or for an occasion please fill in the details on the Rota on the table at rear of Church. 

Charity Collections - Please remember to bring & put in drawers at rear of church: 
• used stamps for the Leprosy Mission. 
• milk bottle tops for Myton Hospice 
• ring pulls from cans for the Philippine Community Fund. 
• The Coventry Foodbank contents are taken each week to the Hope Centre in Hillfields. New Shopping Lists are available to help you 
• Coins to put in our I Hate Coppers bottle as we support Canon Andrew White and the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East at St.George's Church, Baghdad, Iraq. 
• Individual collection boxes for The Children’s Society. Please see Janice 

Coventry Night Shelter 
Please be praying for this venture, for safety and strength for all involved in running it and for God to bless the guests who will be benefitting from it. Please pray that God’s love is made known, and also that the guests are able to make real progress in getting off the streets permanently. There are also likely to be other overheads so any monetary donations would be welcomed if that is how you feel called to respond. If you can possibly help, the more volunteers we have, the less often each person needs to volunteer. The actual weekly rota will be being done locally by Elke.

• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all. 
• The Global economies at this difficult time 
• For all those using our building 
• For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community. 
• For the Youth Alpha that is starting this week

Prayer for Today 
Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles, ‘ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you’: look not on your sins but on the faith of your Church and grant it the peace and unity of your kingdom; where you are alive and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
