Prayer meetings meet on Tuesday evenings, 730-9pm at the Vicarage.

Team Ascension Day Service
Thursday 17th May, 7.30pm at St Peter’s
Bible Study Group will reform on 21st May looking at Exodus 13:17-14:31
Sunday 27th May 12pm-2pm Archbishop Rowan Williams will be leading an all-age service at Stoneleigh Park. There will be a hog-roast after the service. This will be a chance in a lifetime to meet him before he retires.
Bring a deckchair if you can and come to church at 10am as usual.
Sunday June 3rd straight after the service there will be a BBQ and Picnic in the Vicarage garden. All welcome, with friends and family. Please bring something for the barbeque or food and drink for you or to share.
For your diary: Bishop Christopher will be coming to St Anne and All Saints on
Sunday 17th June to worship with us.

• We pray for our Cathedral, and for all those involved in the organisation of the Golden Jubilee celebrations throughout this year.
• The Elliot family whose daughter Imogen is poorly
• Pray for God’s blessing on his creation, the seasons of the year, our farmers, gardeners and all who toil to produce food.
• Sam on his Baptism, fill him with the Holy Spirit and receive him into the family of your church, that he may walk with us in the way of Christ, and grow in the knowledge of your love.
• Christian Aid Week, Pray for people living in the poorest areas of the world; Pray for people living in situations of war and conflict; Pray for those who are paying the price of the financial systems from which we benefit in the developed world; Pray that we recognise our common humanity and hold out hands of friendship and support.

Prayer for today: Risen Christ, by the lakeside you renewed you call to disciples: help your Church to obey your command and draw the nations to the fire of your love, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.
