We start today with our new 9.00am said Holy Communion Service in the side chapel, which will be followed at 10.00am by a less formal Worship Together Service without communion. There will be Sunday Club for children during the 10.00am service.

We welcome you to both of our Services and hope that you will be able to stay for refreshments and a chat after the 10.00am Service.

• Peace in the world
• The Global economies at this difficult time
• Syria, that peace will prevail and solutions will be found to enable all to live in harmony.
• We pray for our Cathedral, and for all those involved in the organisation of the Golden Jubilee celebrations throughout this year.
• The Elliot family whose daughter Imogen is poorly
• Thank God for faith, determination, teamwork and vision in the face of challenges (including financial). We pray for more of God in our lives as we endeavour to shine for Jesus in our communities whatever the challenges are!

We pray for those in special need at this time and those recovering from illness:
Edna Chappell; Irene Haigh; Jack Stansfield; David Smith; Sheila Green: Margaret Smith; Betty Sutton; Ron Smith; Veronica Martin; Peter Soles; Elaine Light; Susan McMillan; Alan Stansfield; Imogen Elliot; Sandra Blackwell

Risen Christ, your wounds declare your love for the world and the wonder of your risen life: give us compassion and courage to risk ourselves for those we serve, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.
