• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• For the Global economies at this difficult
• For all those using our building
• For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community.
• Maundy Thursday - As we remember Jesus' last supper, we pray that God would increase in us gifts of humility and hospitality, and help us to turn away from selfishness and pride. We pray for the licensed ministers and clergy who will gather at the cathedral today for the Chrism Eucharist and reaffirmation of ordination vows.
• Good Friday - "When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of Glory died; my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride." As we remember Jesus' obedience, even to death on a cross, we ask God to meet us in our brokenness and need and to make us obedient to him.
• Easter Eve - We pray for all those who are waiting. We remember those who are expecting good news today, of a birth or a reason to celebrate. We pray too for those who are waiting for the unknown, for those facing their own death or the death of a loved one, and for those who will receive sad or difficult news today.

Pray for those in special need at this time and those recovering from illness:
Phil Smith; Colin O’Shea; Steve Brooker; Fred Wiles; J R Lindsey; Pam Howes; Molly Harling; Robert Hickerton.

Prayer for Today
True and humble King, hailed by the crowd as Messiah: grant us the faith to know you and love you, that we may be found beside you on the way of the cross, which is the path of glory. Amen.
