Pentecost 2014 - The Big Birthday Bash
Saturday, 7th June from 11am till 3pm
As Part of the Hope 2014 programme in Coventry,
The Hope at Pentecost Event will be a 'Big Birthday Bash' in Broadgate.
There will be stalls celebrating family life and some of the ways
Christians are helping families in Coventry and beyond,
a free barbecue, free hot drinks, party bags, musical entertainment,
circus-type acts and a big birthday cake
to be cut by city dignitaries and then given out to all.
If you would like to bake a cake, which will become part of the big one, or help on the day in any way,

• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• The Global economies at this difficult time
• For all those using our building
• For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community. • At the start of Christian Aid week we pray for collectors in cities, towns and villages around the diocese, that they may be received with warmth and generosity.
• We pray for all those who will attend the ‘Remember our Child’ annual service at the cathedral.
• We pray for primary schools whose pupils will be taking their SATS this week.
• We pray for Archdeacons John and Morris who will be jointly conducting the visitations this year. We pray for Sandra and Angie who will be commissioned into the role of Churchwarden and give thanks for their service to the church.

Prayer for Today
Risen Christ, faithful shepherd of your Father’s sheep: teach us to hear your voice and to follow your command, that all your people may be gathered into one flock, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.
