Sometimes it isn't possible to make it when we are on a rota, but please do remember to try to arrange someone to cover if you aren't able to help in the way that was planned, and please do check your rota regularly.

Please pray
• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• For all those using our building
• For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community.
• For blessing and protection for Clive, Ali and all the family.
• We thank God for the gift of our historic church buildings and the generations of faith and worship that they represent.
• During this month there will be many Leavers’ Services taking place in parish churches and in schools. Pray for all those making the transition from primary to secondary schools and for all who will moving to new classes in September, both pupils and teachers alike. May they give thanks for the past blessings and trust God for all that is to come.
• We thank God for Linda Wainscot and for all those who work in the Diocesan Board of Education, caring for, teaching and giving structure to many schools within the diocese. We pray for the Board which meets on Wednesday.
• As many schools finish for the summer holiday, we pray for all families with school-age children. We thank God for the rest and fun that many children will enjoy this summer. We pray for families for whom the extended holiday can bring extra tension, conflict or hardship.

Pray for those in special need at this time and those recovering from illness:
Colin O’Shea; Les Cave; J R Lindsey; Kaine Veal; Angela Justice; Chris Edmunds; Brian Groves;

Prayer for Today
Creator God, you made us all in your image: may we discern you in all that we see, and serve you in all that we do; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
