Serving each other in church. It is great that we are able to depend on each other as so many people help out in so many different ways in church. Sometimes it isn't possible to make it when we are on a rota, but please do remember to try to arrange someone to cover if you aren't able to help in the way that was planned, and please do check your rota regularly.

Coventry Food Bank most needed product is cartons of Long Life Milk please.

Please Pray
• For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all.
• For all those using our building
• For God's blessing upon the church members and the local community.
• For blessing and protection for Clive, Ali and all the family.
• We thank God for the rest and fun that many children will enjoy this summer. We pray for families for whom the extended holiday can bring extra tension, conflict or hardship.
• We pray for safe travel for all those going on holidays this summer. Please give care and wisdom to all responsible for carrying passengers on public transport.
• We thank God for our brothers and sisters who serve and worship in other Christian denominations. We ask God for new opportunities to work together ecumenically to help transform our local communities.
• The United Nations has declared today to be "International Youth Day." We pray for young people throughout the world, particularly those living in poverty, fear or danger. We pray for the Church's mission among the young people in our communities. Take time to pray for young people known to you, and ask God to meet their spiritual, social and emotional needs.
• We pray for those who are grieving. We remember those who feel alone and pray for God's comfort and blessing. Pray that God will give us the compassion to comfort and care for those who are in need.
• “For the poor and the hungry, for the homeless and the oppressed, for all prisoners and captives, and for our brothers and sisters who are persecuted for their faith, let us pray to the Lord.”

Pray for those in special need at this time and those recovering from illness:
Colin O’Shea; J R Lindsey; Kaine Veal; Angela Justice; Chris Edmunds; Brian Groves; Ross Spriggs; Jackie Adams

We remember in our prayers Cliff Wolstenholme whose funeral was held at St.Anne & All Saints Church earlier this week. We thank God for his life and all that he meant to his family and friends. We pray for them at this time of mourning, that they will be comforted in the knowledge that Cliff is safe and secure in God's loving arms.

Prayer for Today
Lord of heaven and earth, as Jesus taught his disciples to be persistent in prayer, give us patience and courage never to lose hope, but always to bring our prayers before you; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
